DR. NATHANIEL D. WEST

Nathaniel D. West

Dr. West is an Assistant Professor at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University and a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is an advocate for the well-being of clergy and other leaders.

He also provides training and consultation with churches and other organizations to help build unity and enrich collaboration.

Dr. West received the Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. 

He also received the M.Div. degree at the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, the M.A. in Christian Education degree at the Presbyterian School of Christian Education, and the M.A. in Professional Counseling degree at Liberty University.

Dr. West earned the Ph.D. in Education at Virginia Commonwealth University.
